Life & Science Museum

We went to the Museum of Life & Science again. This time we saw some of the stuff we missed last time. We saw the dinosaurs or like I like to call them "rynasaurs"! We also saw the butterflies again and lots of bugs, snakes and frogs. We saw a cow, some pigs, a goat, a sheep and a donkey (my favorite)! They have this really neat playground with drums and all kinds of things that make A LOT of noise. I had a great time with those. They have some cool stuff inside too. We played all day and then we came home and went to the pool. I was worn out! I ALMOST fell asleep before dinner but I made it!

My Many Talents!

Here's a few of the adorable things I do. Mommy says I am SO smart - I think she's right!

Dance Moves!

Aren't I SO cute!!! Aidan & I love to dance. We were on his front porch dancing while his Mommy & Daddy were having a garage sale. We were really getting down but as soon as my Mommy took her camera out we stopped. We obviously don't want anything embarrassing getting caught on camera!!

In the other video I was really getting down! I wish I had at least put on some pants!

Beanie Weenies!

Alright there is no easy way to tell this story like Connor is saying it so....Mommy's telling this story. Tonight we had absolutely nothing in the house to cook. We had hot dogs, no buns and lots of canned goods. We were too lazy to go pick up anything so we made beanie weenies with a can of homestyle baked beans and hot dogs. I was a little distraught about feeding this to him since we try really hard to give him healthy food but anyway!!
We will be giving it to him again because he was absolutely adorable eating it. I had told him a few times that Daddy was making beanie weenies so he knew what he was eating. He would pick up a bean and say "beanie?" and then pick up a hot dog and say "weenie?". I confirmed his discovery and giggled a little at how cute it was that he had figured out why they were called what they are called. He continued to do this is he ate identifying each thing that he put in his mouth one by one.
Suddenly he looked very confused and bothered. He handed me whatever it was that was concerning him and said "trash"! It was the bacon piece that they put in the beans. How very adorable that he thought someone had put trash in his beanie weenies and that obviously it must be trash since "bacon" is no where in the name of what he is eating. I guess he would have just eaten it if the name would have been bacon beanie weenies!!

Playin' In the "Poo" with "Ainan"!!!

"Ainan" and I have had a lot of fun this summer. He has a "Yittle (little) poo (pool) at his hise (house) that we like to pay (play) in!" We go down the little slide face forward and everything. Aidan is a little daredevil. I love filling up the pool with the water hose but sometimes it just stops working. I guess it runs out of water or something. Here's a picture of me trying to find the water inside the water hose and another of me and Aidan just playing. Aren't we cute in our little swimming trunks!!!

MMM MMM GOOD....... I think :)

Man, I love lemons.....well, "yaemas" like I like to call them! Whenever Mommy and Daddy take me out to eat I IMMEDIATELY want to dig the yaemas out of their "wawas" (waters) and demolish them! Mommy said I'm not supposed to eat the rind but I love that part too. I generally stick the entire thing in my mouth and the faces begin!! Mommy caught me with a good face in this pic. The waitress thought it was the funniest thing she had ever seen and kept wanting to bring me more. Mommy and Daddy cut me off though.

Doggie Paddler!!!

I figured it out!!!! It took about a week of going to the pool almost every day but I figured it out!!! I can now doggie paddle. I have a life jacket that helps a little but I still have to work hard to keep my face from going under. Once I figured out how to keep myself upright and keep my face out of the water it was only a matter of time. Now I swim all over the place. I swam about 6 feet today from Daddy to Mommy all by myself. I am a little fish. Mommy says she thinks I'll catch on to swimming without my life jacket pretty easily because the life jacket doesn't really work like it is suppose to and I'm already having to work to keep myself afloat. I love the pool. I am not afraid AT ALL. I promise I'll post some pics soon of all our summer fun!

Pee Pee In the Potty!

The other day I did something really funny! I had to tease my mom and dad a little bit! I walked into the bathroom right before my Mommy was about to give me my bath, pointed to my new potty, and said "pee pee". Mommy said "yes baby, that is where you pee pee". She obviously didn't get it so I said it again. Finally she got it and said "Oh, you want to pee pee in the potty?" and I nodded! So she helped me get situated on the potty and I let out a ferocious straining noise. Mommy looked a little shocked but I was just doing what I've seen done before!! Anyway, once I finished I got up and pointed down to the teensy weensy amount of pee pee that I had managed to provide and said "pee pee!". Regardless of the volume, I had still done it! Mommy was floored and started screaming for Daddy to get M&Ms!! Daddy showed up with 2 green M&Ms. I was very pleased with myself and the M&Ms! Mommy kept singing some ridiculous potty song and clapping and saying pee pee + potty = M&Ms. I just let them enjoy the moment and continued on to my bath. Their excitement was quite amusing considering I do not plan on doing that again for a very long time!
Although the M&Ms were kind of tempting..........

See how much I've grown!

Since we stayed at the exact same place at the beach last year we took the exact same pics. If you look back in the 2008 "Surf's Up 2" file you'll see how different I looked last year. I have grown up SOOO much!

~Evening stroll on the beach~

Our last night at the beach after ANOTHER good seafood dinner we went for a walk on the beach before bedtime. Mommy said that's her favorite time at the beach. We walked around and put our feet in the water and looked at boats. We walked around on the boardwalk and had some nice relaxing family time :)

Beach Trip Day 2

I had lots of fun on the beach the second day. I had finally gotten used to walking around in that crazy stuff. The water was a little warmer and there was a sand bar that we could walk out to. We played in the waves and then played in the sand some more. I had sand in places I didn't even know I had!!

Beach Trip Day 1

The 3 of us went to "our spot" for Memorial Day weekend. We spent all day on the beach and at the pool. I wasn't a big fan of the sand at first but I warmed up to it after a while. I made a sand castle and did a whole lot of digging. The water at the beach was really cold and rough so we did most of our swimming at the pool. I love sitting on the side of the pool and jumping in to Mommy or Daddy. I've also learned how to kick my feet to swim and blow bubbles in the water. After playing all day we went out to eat some good seafood. I discovered hush puppies - yummy! I hope they aren't really made from puppies though - eek! I love going to the beach - we always have so much fun!

Happy Mother's Day!

Daddy and I took Mommy out for a Mother's Day dinner at the Washington Duke. I was an angel the whole time. I really turned on the charm! Everyone thought I was the cutest and all of these hoyty toyty grown ups kept coming up to us and telling Mommy how well she raised me because I was being so good! Daddy and I had the whole thing planned. We knew it would make Mommy feel good :) We ate really good food and then Mommy and Daddy ordered me a special dessert that was SO YUMMY!

Lovin' my sissy!

Here's some early morning pics of me and my sissy Kaya!

Tiger in training!

I LOVE my golf set! Mommy and Daddy bought it for me when we went on our zoo trip because I didn't have any toys to play with at the hotel. Now it is one of my favorite toys. I love chasing Kaya around with the clubs!!

Cheese!

Mommy insisted on another "photo session" on some random rock at the zoo! MMMMMOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!

Monkeys!! (Zoo Part II)

Well....Chimps! I loved the chimps - they were just my size. They liked me too - one of them came right up to the glass and watched me for a long time. He even had a little silky blanket just like me that he was carrying around. They were really cute and smart. There was a little faucet on the side of the wall and they would go right up to it, turn it on and get themselves a drink of water! It was very neat!! There was a grandaddy chimp too that had a grey beard. I liked them sooo much that I kissed the chimp statues. Continuously!!!!

Zoo Part 1

Here's some pictures of us visiting the elephants at the zoo. One of them came up really close so we could see him. They were really big and stinky! I got my picture taken with the little guy. He didn't stink at all! Aren't I cute!

Mini Me!

Here's a pic of my Daddy, all of his friends, and their mini mes! Pretty funny, huh?

My Buddies!!

I have SOOOO many friends. My BESTEST buddy is Aidan - we do everything together. As you can see by his shirt......he's a keeper!!! We like to play hard most of the time but we can just chill together too. That's us chillin in the dog bed!! We also have a good friend Layne ( he's the bald one! ). He's not quite mobil yet but once he is he's gonna be in just as much trouble as Aidan and I! We are going to be a regular "Larry Moe and Curly"!!! The little cutie is Emma. She lives out west right now but we keep telling her if she moves back here we can guarantee that she will always have a man!!!! My cousin Reese is the one busting out of the house! He's so much fun too. I don't get to see him a whole lot but when I do we sure have a lot of fun! My other cousin, Jared, is the coolest. He's a lot older that me but he still plays with me. He gives me lots of cool clothes and teaches me how to do lots of cool stuff like how to ride a 3 wheeler all by myself!!! He also gave me a Hummer and a Jeep - awesome!!! I can't wait until this summer - we are all going to have such an awesome time!
