Finally! Mommy and Daddy gave me some real food! Mommy cooked me some chicken & carrots and I had bananas and soy cheese with it. I squished it all together and ate it up - it was so yummy!

Here's another pic of me and my buddy Aidan! We have a lot of fun playing together now! I crawl around everywhere and he tries to catch me. Uncle E says he does the "Commando Crawl". I keep trying to show him how to use his knees to crawl and he's been showing me how to use that weird sippy cup thing.

I'm back!

Hey everybody! Daddy got through his surgery and is doing pretty good. He's still hurting some but he's getting better every day. We are so relieved!
I went to the doctor today because Mommy & Daddy were worried about me because I wouldn't eat anymore. I am so not down with the baby food anymore! That is who it is for BABIES - not me! My doctor finally told Mommy & Daddy what I've been trying to tell them the last few weeks. I WANT BIG BOY FOOD! The doctor also said I might be getting more teeth! I already have 4 - how many more do I need?!?!?
Well, I'll get Mommy to put some more pics up for you guys soon!

Please forgive me....

Hey everybody! I just wanted to remind you that my Daddy is having his surgery this coming up Friday. We are all really nervous and hope that you will keep us in your prayers. Please forgive me if I am unable to keep up with my blogging. I will be back at it as soon as I am sure Daddy doesn't need me to nurse him back to health anymore. Wish us luck!

9 months!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT - I'M ALREADY 9 MONTHS OLD! I'VE MASTERED CRAWLING, PULLING UP, CRUISING, WALKING WHILE HOLDING SOMEONE'S HANDS AND CLIMBING STAIRS. I CAN'T BELIEVE I LAYED AROUND ALL THOSE MONTHS - THERE IS SO MUCH TO SEE AND DO. I THINK MOMMY AND DADDY CHANGED MY NAME - IT WAS CONNOR BUT NOW I THINK IT IS "NO". I ALSO DISCOVERED THAT MOMMY AND DADDY'S FOOD IS WAY BETTER THAN MINE. I STILL EAT MY BABY FOOD BUT I SURE DO LOVE WHEN THEY SHARE THEIR FOOD. I LOVE CHICKEN AND BREAD - MMM MMM! I'VE ALSO DISCOVERED THAT I HAVE QUITE A TEMPER - OR AT LEAST MOMMY SAYS SO. I'VE FIGURED OUT MY BEDTIME ROUTINE AND AS SOON AS SOMEONE TRIES TO SNEAK IT ON ME I LET THEM KNOW IT AIN'T HAPPENIN' ! I'M REALLY EXCITED ABOUT LEARNING TO WALK. I PRACTICE EVERY DAY BUT I'M A LITTLE NERVOUS. I STAND UP FOR A MINUTE OR SO SOMETIMES BY MYSELF. WHEN I REALIZE I'M DOING IT BY MYSELF I GET SCARED AND PLOP DOWN ON MY HINNIE! I THINK I'LL HAVE IT FIGURED OUT BY HALLOWEEN THOUGH. I PICKED OUT MY HALLOWEEN OUTFIT TONIGHT - I AM GOING TO BE SOOOOO CUTE. I BET YOU ALL WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS BUT MOMMY SAID I HAVE TO WAIT TO TELL ANYONE. Pimp my ride!

Daddy took me shopping at Target and it was a huge bore! I decided to take a little cat nap until something more interesting came along. Props to Dad for pimpin' my cart and making it so cozy!

Climbin' Mountains

I did it everyone! I climbed the stairs today ALL BY MYSELF! Mommy & Daddy think they can keep me downstairs - but I showed them. I was a pro at it too - I knew exactly what to do.
Now I just have to figure out how to get back down!

8 Months!

Now I'm 8 months and this month is gonna be big for me. I'm a pro at sitting up on my own. I think I've gotten crawling figured out too. I can go from sitting to crawling and back to sitting again. I also just figured out how to crawl up to the couch and pull up on it. I've started cruising a little - you know, holding on to the couch and walking around - but I'm still a little nervous with that. I can walk no problem if you hold my hands though - so look out I might be mastering that this month too! I can say DADA, MAMA & BABA really good. Mommy was feeling left out because I was saying DADA all the time last month so I've been feeding her ego a little lately and saying MAMA all the time. I can't wait to see what I learn to do this month!

Surf's Up Round 2!

Mommy & Daddy took me back to the beach again this past weekend. We had a really good time again. We played in the pool and on the beach every day. We went out to dinner every night. I always took a nap during dinner because it was boring and I don't like seafood anyway. Daddy took me in the water a little bit deeper this time but not too far because Mommy was yelling at us. She said we were going to give her a heart attack & we didn't want to do that so we came back to the ankle deep water. Oh, and guess what!?!?!? I learned to crawl on Daddy's birthday so I was EVERYWHERE all weekend. I kept crawling out of my pool on the beach so that I could get some of that sand stuff. In the hotel room I would crawl back & forth from the bed to the couch and pull up to surprise Mommy & Daddy. I love being mobile!!

Hangin' Out

Here's a few pics of me with Mom, Dad, & my buddy Aidan. Check out all those teeth in my mouth - but don't put your finger in there!!! I've got 6 all the way in and my 7th and 8th are on the way! I hear that's alot for a 7 month old!

4th of July!

Mommy & Daddy took me out to Kerr Lake to visit some of their friends for the 4th of July. It was a lot of fun. I swam in the lake a little, floated around in my motor boat, and played in the sand. The most fun was when I learned to drive the REAL boat. Daddy's friend Buddy showed me how and then I took over - it was easy. I drove all the way to this island. I had my own life jacked (which I hated) but I looked really official - especially when I added my shades to the mix

Too Cool!

Me and Daddy are like twins. He calls me his "Mini Me". We even have twin sunglasses - the ladies can't resist!

Surfs Up!

Mommy, Daddy & I all went to the beach for the weekend and stayed in a hotel that was right on the beach. It had 2 pools and they had fireworks and the Beach Music Festival right next store. It was SO MUCH FUN. I love swimming and they waves at the beach are so fun to jump in. I'm not a huge fan of sand but as long as it stays out of my diaper we're good! I got to ride around in my motor boat in the pool every day and we went to the beach and played in the surf together. Daddy taught me how to sit on the side of the pool and jump in to him. While we were at the beach we went to the aquarium and saw alligators, sharks, turtles and all kinds of fish. After that we got ice cream - it was YUMMIE! We also drove Lucy (our car) on the beach. Daddy got stuck too! Mommy was a nervous wreck but we got out without having to call the tow truck - thank goodness! I doubt the tow truck had a car seat! It was a really awesome weekend
